Medicloud Q4 Update

Welcome to Q4! 👋

We are officially in the final quarter of the year.

For some teams, this is the time to start wrapping things up, reviewing what the year has looked like so far and preparing for what comes next. For others, it is still very much business as usual, with targets to meet and plenty to get done before the year ends.

However Q4 looks for you, we hope it is going well.

For us at Medicloud, the past few months have been busy. We have been working on Medicloud v3, making progress towards NHIA integration and delivering a few new features based on the needs of our HMO partners.

So, before the year gets away from us, here is a quick look at what we have been up to.

Paper documents transforming into a laptop dashboard, with Document and Data labels on a clean medical-themed background.

Medicloud v3 is here (Medicloud Q4 Update)

Medicloud Q4 Update: Medicloud v3 has been one of our major areas of work this quarter.

The new version brings new ways for HMO teams to manage approvals, keep track of important processes, receive notifications and spot issues that may need attention.

Teams can now set up approval steps for different processes and see what has changed before approving an update. There are also regular checks across areas such as enrolment, providers, claims, pre-authorisation and capitation to help teams identify issues earlier.

We have also made notifications more flexible, allowing teams to decide what they want to be notified about, who should receive the notification and when it should be sent.

There are also options to schedule certain changes for a future date or set them to happen repeatedly.

For contact centre teams, Medicloud can recognise a member using their phone number when they call and bring up their record, making it easier to find the information they need.

And while there are new capabilities in v3, the core Medicloud modules and existing records remain available.

Simply put, Medicloud v3 gives HMO teams more ways to manage their everyday operations.

NHIA Integration

Another important part of our work this quarter has been our progress towards NHIA integration.

With 28 HMOs currently operating on Medicloud, we are working towards connecting Medicloud with the NHIA Partner Portal.

The goal is to make statutory reporting easier for participating HMOs and reduce some of the manual work involved in the process.

It is still work in progress, but it’s an important step for us as we continue building better-connected healthcare systems.

A few more things we have been working on

There have also been a number of smaller updates across Medicloud this quarter.

We introduced Alternate Benefits, giving users more flexibility when selecting which benefit a service should deduct from during pre-authorisation.

Our AI claim auto-adjudication has also been updated to give teams more control over when claims are processed.

For family plans, we introduced a Single Global Limit, allowing the principal enrollee and dependants to share one plan limit.

The Health Tips section on the mobile app is now interactive, allowing members to click on health tips and watch related YouTube content.

We also introduced a Priority Badge that helps providers identify high-profile enrollees when they visit.

And for one of our clients, we delivered a co-payment functionality based on their specific requirements.

That’s our Q4 update so far.

There has been quite a bit happening behind the scenes, and we are glad to share some of it with you.

As the year comes to a close, we will keep listening to our partners, improving Medicloud and working on the things that make healthcare operations easier to manage.

Thank you for building with us, and welcome to Q4.
